JFW is honored to have participated in the co-creation and production of two epic-quality hero skins in collaboration with internationally renowned visual artist, film art director, and costume design master Tim Yip for Honor of Kings: the Ultimate Elegance series – Lady Zhen and Xi Shi.

Behind the birth of each skin series, we always explore new themes and stories. This time, we start from the spiritual core of folklore, drawing inspiration from two legendary women, and embark on a co-creation journey with a master. We transform boundless imagination into tangible forms, creating new images for Xi Shi and Lady Zhen that embody the spirit of Eastern women. Through the presentation of the Ultimate Elegance series, we bring players a new experience of Eastern aesthetics.

In the music design, we combine the bawu, guzheng, strings, and piano to express the feeling of fluidity and flowing water. The theme melody, hummed by the gentle voice of the song fairy, also resonates with the melody of Lady Zhen in the series of skins.

In the music design, whispered vocals represent the oppression Lady Zhen feels from her environment. The winding melodies of the bawu and flute, along with the distinctive sound of the xianjiao, evoke the atmosphere of the Dai ethnic group. This also resonates with the melodies associated with Xi Shi in the series of skins.

This time, we collaborated with the master to co-create, drawing inspiration from national legends. Using landscapes and rainforests as the fabric and adorned with flora and mythical creatures, we have transformed imaginative concepts into tangible forms.
