JFW is honored to be involved in the collaborative production of the limited edition skins for the Qixi Festival between Honor of Kings and Fox Spirit Matchmaker, and has released two theme music for the skins: "If in the Next Life • Tu Shan Honghong" and "If in the Next Life • Dongfang Yuechu".
CHARACTER THEME DESIGN
Waiting for the Answer of Fate, Beneath the Tree of Longing
Do you still remember the little moments when Honghong and Yuechu once knew each other…
Was it the words “Tu Shan, I’ve got your back” when they first met,
Or the resolute words “If you want to leave, then go ahead” at parting,
Or the vow beneath the Bitter Love Tree: “Let’s meet again in the next life…”
Their promise beneath the Bitter Love Tree finally bloomed this Qixi Festival, bringing Tu Shan’s flowers to the King’s Canyon...
Honghong and Yuechu, having ended their longing, reunited beneath the giant Bitter Love Tree...
MUSIC DESIGN
The theme music for these skins is adapted from the song "If in the Next Life" from the Fox Spirit Matchmaker Tu Shan Honghong chapter. The lyrical arrangement combines a regal orchestral style with a touch of the Cloud Dream Marsh's sound features, alongside the personalities of the two characters, to create these two pure instrumental versions. The music aims to express the emotions of their meeting, the bittersweet moments shared, and the promises made under the Bitter Love Tree, transcending time and space—connecting their past lives and present emotions. It is hoped that all lovers in the world will tightly hold each other's hands.
