Happy 3rd Anniversary, Pokémon UNITE! Let’s celebrate with Ho-Oh!
On 21st July, the Pokémon UNITE game celebrated its third anniversary—a big thank you to all the longtime (and new) fans for your support!
And for those who haven’t tried a Unite Battle yet, now might be a good time to start due to all the anniversary goodies and festivities. But before we get to that, let’s start with a recap of what this game is all about.
About Pokémon UNITE
Pokémon UNITE is a free-to-start game where Pokémon Trainers face off in 5-on-5 team battles. Trainers can deck out their Pokémon in holographic outfits (called Holowear), obtain licenses to use specific Pokémon in battle, strategise with powerful Unite Moves, and enjoy cross-platform support for both the Nintendo Switch™ and mobile* versions of the game. You can download the Nintendo Switch version from Nintendo.com/au or Nintendo eShop on your device.
Ho-Oh havoc
As part of the 3rd Anniversary celebration, the Legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh will be introduced to Pokémon UNITE. From now until 12th August at 9:59 a.m. AEST, you can take part in a special event. Roll the free in-game die and complete missions—once you meet the criteria, you’ll get a token that can be exchanged for the Ho-Oh license! Please check the game for all the die-rolling details.
More anniversary events
