The 2021 Honor of Kings World Champion Cup is the sixth Honor of Kings Champion Cup series tournament since the tournament has taken place in 2016, organized by Tencent and VSPN. On May 20th, 2021, at the Beijing Esports conference, it has revealed that the Grand Final match will be taken place on August 28th, 2021 in Beijing at National Olympic Sports Center where the 11th Asian Games was held in 1990.
As of June 16th, 2021, from the Tencent Conference, Honor of Kings World Champion Cup 2021 will be held in 6 cities, including Shanghai, Nanjing, Chongqing, Qingdao, Wuhan, and Beijing.
Due to the new epidemic of COVID-19 in China, the official has announced that from the first week of the Group Stage in Nanjing will be moved to Chongqing. As of August 2nd, 2021, the official has announced the new statement for the second week of Group Stage in Chongqing that will go on without the audience.
